On Jan 17, 2010, after a week of planning for Sean Cononie and the Homeless Voice, our assist to Haiti played out. All went as planned with a few minor speed bumps...
- At MIA, we were told we would not be able to bring all the suplies.
- As we boarded the plane we got a call that all the boxes were able to go with us.
- We had to circle Haiti for about an hour and a half. Haiti is used to only a few planes a day, compared to a hundred or so now.
We arrived in Haiti, and found out we had to fly a few people to South America to help them get home...
All in all, a worth while trip.
It is amazing to see everyone working together... I am very proud to be a part of this family
